Dear Friends in Israel; join me when my Swedish Artist friend Renée Breig
http://www.reneebreig.com/ will be guiding through the principles of Vedic Art, for a weekend in the beginning of October (no former painting skills what so ever is needed). After reading below information, let me know if you are interested through commenting to this blog post or sending me a mail to karolinep05@yahoo.se. I will then get back to you with the date, place and price as soon as I have all that information.

I went to my first Vedic Art course for about 3 years ago, 'dragged' :) by some colleagues at http://www.talarforum.se/ in Stockholm. I was scared! When it comes to painting, I suck! As simple as that!

Throughout the course I learned so much about what Vedic Art painting really is all about; it is more than painting, it is about to listen to your inner self since your paintings will reflect exactly that, your inner self; your feelings, emotions, mood, past experiences - like a diary, but through a painting instead of words.

Renee helped me to experience my inner self and to have fun with colors and paint in a new and exciting way. It became such great and fun weekend I will never forget. I want more, and that is the reason why I invite Renee to Israel.

About Vedic Art and the planned weekend course in Israel;

VEDIC ART COURSE With Renée Breig (Artist and Vedic Art teacher)
"Both feet firmly on the ground and the paint brush in heaven" "Vedic Art does not teach anyone how to paint - No - Vedic Art is a way to remember how to paint. And not only to remember how art can be created. from the very beginning, when we hear about the seventeen Vedic Principles of Art, we begin to remember the whole story of life. Where we come from and where we are going. Vedic Art contains a navigational chart. Use the compass you have in your brain and find the way to the chamber of peace in your heart. " VEDIC ART is a way to achieve a higher state of consciousness through artistic creativity. The most important aspect is not technique but rather each individual's possibility, without dependency on technical skills or control, to create directly from the wellspring of his or her own being.

VEDIC ART is entirely independent of all schools, trends, and organisations. As an artist within the field of VEDIC ART one is totally unfettered, except possibly to one thing... boundlessness, freedom. Thus, VEDIC ART is neither ideology, philosophy nor religion, but rather a science of universal laws. One can adhere to any faith at all and still paint VEDIC ART.
VEDIC ART is based upon the ancient Vedic knowledge tradition which has many branches, including subjects such as art, ethics, philosophy, health & politics.
The founder of VEDIC ART, Curt Kallman from Eketorp on the Swedish island of Öland, has for more than 30 years tended and nurtured one particular branch of the vedic tree, namely, that of art. It was Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of T.M. who also gave him the 17 principles, to found an art school where to find creativity within as a way to personal growth.

About the Artist in Residence / Teacher - Renée Breig is painting and teaching Vedic Art and has up until now had exhibitions in The United States, Italy and Sweden.
